Congratulations to Jimmy Minieri (22:48) and Stephanie LeBlanc (25:07) who led the pack to win the HVWA and L.N. Clark Inspiration Network Run/Walk for Life 5K. The race was held May 9 in Waterville and started at Thomas College.

The 5th annual event benefited Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area, which serves 27 communities in Central Maine and  provide non-medical support to individuals and their families during the last phases of life. The race also benefited the L.N. Clark Inspiration Network, which helps Maine cancer patients and their families.

Thanks to everyone who came out to support this Striders race organized by long-time club members and race directors Jerry Saint Amand and Donnajean Pohlman.

Congratulations to Ron Peck (30:43) and Rosalea Kimball (35:28), the first male and female finishers at the Quarry Snow Shuffle 5K on Sunday, February 22. The first annual race, held at Waterville's Quarry Road Recreation Area, was put on by Gines Satchithanandam and benefited WinterKids.

Congratulations to Barry Hopkins and Rosalea Kimball, the overall male and female winners of the 2014 Central Maine Trail Challenge!

This summer the Quarry Road Summer Race Series and Bond Brook Trail Run Series joined forced to crown combined winners of both race series. Barry and Rosalea had the lowest cumulative times over three Quarry Road Summer Races (one 3K, 5K, and 8K race) and three Bond Brook 5K races. 

Rosalea also was the overall female winner of the Quarry Road Summer Race Series and Barry placed seventh overall at Quarry Road.

As the Central Maine Trail Challenge winners, Barry and Rosalea each received a trail running prize package including:

David Currier (fourth from left above) was the overall male winner with a total time of 59:30 over the 3K, 5K, and 8K distances. Rosalea Kimball (third from left above) was the overall female winner with a total time of 1:09:53.
